A little about our School

         Trouwe Hond, which means "Loyal, or Faithful Dog" in Flemish, was formed in 1996 by David M. Ranieri, who is Trouwe Hond's sole trainer and overseer.    David has over 20 years of dog training and behavior modification experience rooted in generations of solid American, and European training techniques.  These combine to establish a deep knowledge of canine behavior and pack leadership psychology that can help him take your dog to a level of obedience where a leash is no longer required.  

Above all, David knows that not all dogs react successfully to the same methods of training.  The "shoe has to fit" and this is why David takes the time to understand your dog first.    After careful Evaluation, David tailors all his Motivational, Psychological, and Focus based training techniques to the specific character of your dog.   David will encourage your dog to want to learn and please your family while improving your dogs memory process.    His programs are designed to strengthen the bond between family and pet through proper communication.   Dave's goal is to help your canine to become a Confident, Reliable, well behaved member of the family.  Consequently,  David Instructs Owners and Families on proper canine handling and care.   All dogs are trained and handled exclusively by David.
